“Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.”
Proverbs 18:21.
God spoke during creation, and from His words, water separated from land, and night separated from day. Adam was asked to name the animals, and from his words, the names animals bear today were formed. It is a mistake to think the words from your mouth have no impact. It is a mistake to think your words are not forming your reality.
Your words signify the things you agree with. They signify what you would like to see and they make up your realities. If you keep on telling yourself a negative word, you’ll begin to see realities that agree with that negative word. So it is when you speak what’s positive, your life will begin to adjust to mirror what has been spoken.
Words are very rarely idle, even when they are spoken idly. They usually go forth and perform the errand they have been sent. So, before you speak, ask yourself, “What errand am I sending my words on?” Remember, life and death are in the power of the tongue.
Charge: Your reality does not take your words for granted; you shouldn’t either.
