“It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.”

The Lord has never made a promise He cannot keep. And there has never been a time that the Lord changed His mind halfway through.
Most times, we find it difficult to trust God because we compare Him to humans. “What if he forgets? What if I make a mistake, and He changes His mind? What if I’m not deserving or good enough to warrant this blessing I seek?” Questions like these fill our minds, and we forget the God we serve. We forget that the God who made the promise is one who saw days ahead before each new day dawns, while He made every one of His promises.
Whatever difficulty or failure you’re experiencing now doesn’t catch Him unawares. He knew about it before He decided to give His Word. That should tell you His Word is worth holding onto no matter what, shouldn’t it? God is faithful.
Charge: You can trust your God. He never fails.
