“And it shall be, that thou shalt drink of the brook; and I have commanded the ravens to feed thee there.”
1 Kings 17:4
If you further study the scripture above, you will realise that God didn’t leave Prophet Elijah stranded. One thing we must never forget as Christians is that, God is with us all the way and won’t forsake us. If He has given you an instruction, know that He has perfected it and you’re just a vessel He wants to use for that work. And what more honour can it bring?
If it will cost God to send birds to feed you, He will do just that. If He has to make strangers rally round to help you, He will. When the brook dried up, He had made another provision available for Elijah in Zarephath.
The only thing is that we must be willing to submit and follow His instructions. “So he went and did according unto the word of the LORD…”(vs.5a). Elijah obeyed God without grumbling.
God already has everything in place for us. Our God is too faithful to leave us stranded. Never for once think you are all alone. If you abide by Him, He will do everything to ensure you’re doing well.
