“And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb“.
Revelation 7:14
This was a revelation shown to John about the people who returned from a great battle, a fierce world of tribulation. The ones who have washed their robes and made them white in the atoning blood of Jesus. Are you going to be one of these ones? On that final day, will you appear before our Father with a stainless robe? This is what God expects from us, His children.
Now, note that He is very much aware that things aren’t easy in this world. He knows the persecutions you’re enduring to remain His child in this unkind and sinful world. So, don’t give up.
Jesus has informed us beforehand that though we shall surely face tribulations in this world, but we should rejoice because He has overcome the world.
Have you fallen into temptation and you feel unworthy, that you might be unable to come before the Lord. There is still hope for you. The secret is to know that as long as you wash yourself and submit to the cross, you will be made white and your records become clean before the Lord.
