“For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”
Romans 10:13
Life often pushes us to cry out, whether in pain, desperation, fear, or hope. The question is not whether you’re calling out, but whose name are you calling? Many call on wealth, connections, or their own strength, yet find no true rescue. But Scripture offers a profound promise: whosoever, regardless of past mistakes, background, or status, calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
To call on the name of the Lord is more than uttering words, it’s a cry of faith, a declaration of dependence, and an invitation for divine intervention. It is the same call that rescued Peter from sinking, healed blind Bartimaeus, and opened prison doors for Paul and Silas.
God has not changed. His ears are still attentive, and His arm is still mighty to save. Whether you’re stuck in sin, overwhelmed by life, or battling unseen battles, call His name: a name that breaks chains, lifts burdens, and restores hope. You don’t need to work for this salvation—it’s a gift received through faith and a heartfelt call on His mercy. Salvation isn’t only about securing eternity; it’s also about experiencing God’s transformative power in your life right now, bringing hope and freedom wherever you are.
Charge: Stop calling on empty names. Call on Jesus, the only name that saves.
