“Behold, they shall surely gather together, but not by me: whosoever shall gather together against thee shall fall for thy sake.”

Isaiah 54:15

Opposition is not always a sign of failure; sometimes, it’s a confirmation that you carry something valuable. The Scripture acknowledges that gatherings and conspiracies may arise, but God makes it clear: not by Me. In other words, He is not the author of any evil formed against you, and because He isn’t, it cannot stand.

The enemy may plot, but their gathering will end in confusion. Their weapons may be crafted, but they will not prosper (Isaiah 54:17). The key is to remember that God’s hand is over His own. He fights battles you cannot see, thwarts traps before they spring, and surrounds you with angelic defences. But keep in mind that this promise doesn’t exempt us from attacks; rather, it guarantees divine rescue.

The Lord does not merely observe from a distance, He steps in. Like He did for Daniel in the lion’s den, for Peter in prison, and for the Israelites at the Red Sea, He will show up for you. So, dear child of God, let the noise of the enemy not drown out the voice of truth—your God is your shield. You are not alone, and you are not forsaken.

Charge: Rest in God’s promise—no gathering against you will succeed. Your rescue is certain!
