“But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, establish, strengthen, settle you.”

1 Peter 5:10.

Life is filled with trials, but we serve the God of all grace! His grace is sufficient to carry us through every challenge. Though suffering may seem overwhelming, God allows it to refine and mature us, not to destroy us. He uses trials to perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle us in His purpose.

Paul experienced hardships and prayed for relief, but God responded, “My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness” (2 Corinthians 12:9). Instead of removing the trial, God provided grace to endure. Likewise, when we rely on His grace, we find strength beyond our abilities.

God’s grace not only sustains but also transforms. Joseph endured betrayal, slavery, and imprisonment, yet God’s grace preserved him, and in the end, he was elevated to a place of honour (Genesis 50:20). No matter what you are going through, God’s grace is working for you and keep in mind that suffering is temporary, but His promise is eternal. Trust in His refining process, for He is preparing you for greater glory.

Charge: Do not give up in your trials. Trust in God’s grace, knowing that He is perfecting you. In due time, He will establish and settle you.
