“But whoso hath this world’s gseeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him? My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and truth.”

1 John 3:17-18

The love of God is not just a feeling, it is an action that should be demonstrated in our daily lives. As Christians, we are called to love one another as Christ loved us, and this love should be evident in both words and actions.

It’s easy to say that we love someone, but true love is shown through our deeds. If we see a brother or sister in need and have the means to help them, then we should do so without hesitation. This is how the world will know that we are followers of Christ – by the way we show love to others.

Jesus demonstrated this kind of love when He fed the hungry, healed the sick, and even died for our sins on the cross. We are called to follow His example and show compassion to those around us.

Let us be known as people who care for one another and are willing to help each other in times of need.

Thought for the day: Let’s not just talk about love, but let us live it out in truth and deed. 2100

Stay blessed.
