DO NOT BE STUBBORN

“Be ye not as the horse, or as the mule, which have no understanding: whose mouth must be held in with bit and bridle, lest they come near unto thee.”

Psalm 32:9

Do you know it is God’s good pleasure to guide you? In fact, He takes it upon Himself to ensure no harm comes to you, and that you do not go the wrong way. Why then, do we have so many Christians making mistakes and living in error?

The truth is we usually do not like to be told what to do, and that means that when God is guiding us, we prefer to do what looks nice in our sight. Hence, the many mistakes.

Dear Christian, make it a point of duty to continually live in obedience. Do not be like a stubborn horse whose owner has to beat and force him to go the right direction. Do not let shiny distractions shake you off the path God is leading you to take.

Prayer
Lord, I surrender every part of me that has refused to bend to your leading. I submit under your leadership, Oh Father. Please, help me to not miss out on what you have for me.
