“And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the LORD thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth.”
Deuteronomy 28:1
The essence of a believer’s walk with God is “Obedience”. It’s your obedience that will make God’s promises come to manifestation in your life. Obedience to God’s word over your life gives you an edge in all areas of your life. It makes you calm when passing through storms and gives you courage and confidence in the face of challenges.
Obedience to God reveals the level of your walk with God, it shows your commitment to your Maker, and proves your love for and faith in Him. Obedience makes you eligible to receive the good of the land.
Do you wish to be lifted high or higher than you are? Do you desire to enjoy God’s blessings in all areas of your life? Obey all the instructions God has given to you and see God making you greater than your expectations.
Remember, obedience to God attracts God’s blessings.
Prayer
O Lord, please give me the grace to obey all your instructions concerning my life, that I may do your will and attract your blessings. Father, forgive me for my past act of disobedience, and help me focus more on doing your will no matter the circumstance. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
