“The LORD of hosts shall defend them; and they shall devour, and subdue with sling stones; and they shall drink, and make a noise as through wine; and they shall be filled like bowls, and as the corners of the altar.”
Zechariah 9:15
This is one of the promises of God to you and I. As long as we are willing to receive the gospel of His Son, Jesus Christ, and forsake our sinful ways, then He is more than willing to assure us victory over the enemy.
Today, there are a lot of people under the dominion of the Satan because of unbelief and sin, just as it was with the Israelites but God delivered them from the pit of their enemies. What a wonderful promise we have in Jesus. And do you know the beautiful thing about this promise? It is for everyone − whoever will heed the Lord’s call. This is our hope of redemption through Jesus Christ.
The Word of God has also said that the name of Jesus is a strong tower that can defend us from every attack of the enemy. But what we do with the name is left to us. However, if we will have faith in God and turn to Him, He will deliver us from any trial that may arise either now or in the future.
