“Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.”
Isaiah 41:10
Fear is the greatest weapon the devil uses to fight believers. People are suffering from different phobias, and believers are not left out, too. Fear of the unknown, fear of heights, fear of marriage, fear of the future, fear of poverty, fear of death, just to mention few.
The devil has no power to attack a believer except when given access. Most times, the access is given through fear. As a child of God, you have not been given the Spirit of fear, but of God to shout Abba Father.
In our today’s reading, God is reaffirming His promises to us. With the current situation of things in our country and the world generally, there’s need for one to be fearful of what the future holds. But God so much love us that He is sending His word to us.
You need not to fear for God will strength you. He is going to uphold you during this hard time, and you will never be stranded.
