One of the riskiest actions a believer can take is trying to confine God to a specific method or approach. Drawing conclusions on matters that God has not concluded, merely because they seem unsolvable in the physical realm, is another error.
God’s nature is characterised by omniscience, omnipotence, and righteousness. This means that He will never take actions that will harm you in the long run, no matter how appealing they may appear now. He is never moved by sight.
He will not engage in something that doesn’t align with His ultimate purpose and, by extension, your benefit, just because you believe it should be done a certain way and embark on a 40-day fast regarding the matter.
While you might be tempted to believe that God is not working in your favour, the truth is that our limited vision prevents us from seeing as far as He does.
What’s required of us is to place wholehearted trust in Him, surrender control, and yield to His methods. We must remain attuned to His voice, even in times when He chooses to speak in a small, still voice, rather than amidst thunderous noise.
