“Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.“
Ephesians 6:13
In times of war, soldiers equip themselves with armour when heading into battle and remove it after the battle. But as Christians, we are in a constant state of spiritual warfare. We cannot afford to lay down our armour because the devil is always on the lookout for opportunities to strike. He seeks out our vulnerabilities.
We must keep ourselves continuously kitted with the whole armour of God. Soldiers equip themselves with their armour from the front, not on their backs. Similarly, as Christians, we must confront the devil head-on because our spiritual weapons are in front, not protecting our backs. If we turn our backs and run from the devil, he will attack from our vulnerable side.
Understanding that this is a battle already won empowers us to face the devil boldly. Our strength comes from God and the resources He provides. As long as we remain equipped, we will stand firm.

Thought for the day: Just as warriors cannot dress carelessly for war, Christians should be intentional in their actions, words, and behavior. We do not conform to the ways of the world because we are not of the world.
Stay blessed.

Absolutely. We can’t afford to lay down our spiritual armour at any time. May God continue to empower us.
