“And the people of the city said to Elisha, “Behold, please consider the situation of this city, as you see it: the city is pleasant, but the water is bad, and the ground is barren.”

 2 Kings 2:19

After Elisha faithfully followed Elijah and received his desired blessing from his master, he encountered a challenge on his way back that tested what he had received. It is often the case that when victory is within reach, obstacles arise to divert our attention. However, it is important not to allow yourself to be swayed by these distractions. Instead, view them as stepping stones on your path to victory.

No matter what may seem bitter or obstructive in your life, I bring you good news. As a believer in Christ, there is no place for “buts” in your life. If you are in Christ, everything about you is good. However, it is crucial to acknowledge and embrace this truth before you can radiate it.

Dear one, take courage even in challenging circumstances and affirm the divine sweetness within you. Declare sweetness over anything that appears bitter or difficult. When you can perceive sweetness in all things, you will experience it in every aspect of your life.

You have been born into sweetness, and Jesus Christ is the source of your sweetness. Remain rooted in Him and embrace the sweetness that flows through you.
