YOU ARE NOT ALONE

“I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.“ 

John 14.18  

It is very possible that your mind cannot exactly grasp what is happening at the moment. You expect more, you have worked for more and it seems like nothing is forthcoming. Even though you quickly chase the thought away, you sometimes wonder if God is really there.

I’ll tell you something. God is ALWAYS there. And nothing happens to you that He is unaware of. And if He is aware of it, be sure that He’s fighting for you behind the scenes. The goodness of God is something that does not ever stop. His mercies endureth forever. They do not stop, so understand that your Father is one that can be trusted.

God can be trusted. If He has said He will not leave you alone, you had better believe it as truth. There will be times when things you do not understand will arise, and in those times it’s okay to go to God and tell Him how much you’re hurting. Stay in the place of fellowship instead of complaining. Ask that He put His arms around you instead of letting the wrong voices in. You are not alone, dear Christian. You don’t have to go through it alone. His arms are ever ready to hold you. He is there for you. Just reach out and you will see.

Prayer

1. Lord, help me to know the beauty of your comfort.
2. Lord,teach me to come to you in the midst of stormy seas so I might find peace in You.
