Do you know your life is a story the Lord is writing from heaven? This is why Christians must never joke about obeying the Lord’s instructions or abiding by His Word. Instead, we must submit our lives to God to be used as He wills and to tell the story He intends to share as a revealing of His Glory and Essence.
Your life will be a platform God uses to show forth what’s possible when a man submits to His rule. It will be the canvas He uses to paint the colours of His Glory and shut the mouth of the naysayers. And all this is not about you but Him. So, submit. Surrender, dear Christian. Your Father in Heaven is looking for men who will become witnesses of His truth. Men who will beat their chest and say, “I know because I am evidence.” But, no one becomes a witness all of a sudden. It requires bowing your head and trusting Him to write your life story.
It requires obeying God in the little things and staying faithful to His commandments. We must remember our lives are to be lived for His praise and Glory. Every aspect of our lives will glorify God and testify to His goodness as long as we keep trusting and walking by His side.
Prayer
1. Lord, make my life a proper witness to your essence.
2. Father, help me to cultivate the fruits of the Spirit, so my character can tell of you.
