“By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.”
Hebrews 13:15
Beloved, what God desires from you is a sacrifice of praise—which means thankfully acknowledging, confessing, and glorifying the name of God. Have you ever wondered: with all the things at the Lord’s disposal, why did He choose to create me?
The answer is found in Isaiah 43:21: “The people I formed for Myself will declare My praise.” Beloved, God takes pleasure in dwelling in our praises. Therefore, our praises—not complaints, murmurs, grumbling, or worries, are what God desires from us.
The 24 elders seated around God’s throne in heaven have set a scriptural standard of what God expects from us here on earth. Are you fulfilling God’s desires? Let us humbly come before the Lord’s presence, giving Him a daily dose of our praises. That’s what we are created to do—it’s what God wants from us.
Charge: Whenever you hit rock bottom, what comes out first from your mouth? Let praises to God continually be in your mouth. We are grateful people. Let’s say together: “Thank You, Jesus!”

Can we take out time daily—morning and night, in fact every time of the day—to praise God?
