“And his name through faith in his name hath made this man strong… the faith which is by him hath given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all.”
Acts 3:16
Faith in Jesus is never powerless. When Peter and John met the lame man at the Beautiful Gate, they didn’t offer him what he expected — money. Instead, they offered him something far greater: the power in the name of Jesus. In a moment, weakness was replaced with strength, and a lifetime of limitation turned into a testimony.
The Scripture reminds us that true faith does not come from our effort alone. It is “the faith which is by Him”—faith supplied by Jesus Himself. He gives us the ability to believe, the courage to trust, and the strength to rise above what has held us down.
Just as the lame man stood with perfect soundness for all to see, Jesus still brings visible, undeniable transformation today. Whatever has seemed broken or impossible in your life can be made whole through His name. Therefore, bring your weakness to Him. Speak His name with confidence. His transforming power has not changed.
Charge: His transforming power brings healing, restoration, and wholeness to every area of one’s life.
