“And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the LORD: and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears: But with righteousness shall he judge the poor, and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth: and he shall smite the earth with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked.”

Isaiah 11:3–4

Human leaders can be deceived by appearances and biases, but righteous judgment sees sin for what it truly is and is not afraid to confront it.

Jesus lived with a flawless understanding of the fear of God and discerned truth no matter how hidden. Being both God and man, He is the perfect Judge of mankind. His judgment will be fair, perfectly just, and beyond appeal. He is not like sinful human rulers who sometimes judge unfairly or seek to fulfil their own agendas.

Jesus said, “I can do nothing on my own. As I hear, I judge; and my judgment is just, because I seek not my own will but the will of Him who sent me.” (John 5:30)
We can be assured that Jesus is a fair Judge who enacts judgment according to His divine wisdom and righteousness.

Charge: Do you seek justice? Take it to Jesus, the perfect Judge. He will give you justice.
