“Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.”
Matthew 5:3
Currently, our world is riddled with self-conceit, arrogance, pride, and pompousness—but God is looking for something different: a man who stands apart from the masses. He honours the humble, the broken, and those who recognise their deep need for Him.
To be poor in spirit means having a heart that is empty of self—fully aware that without God, we are nothing. The poor in spirit are those who say, “Lord, I can’t do this on my own. I need You, so have it Your way.” It is the heart that doesn’t boast in achievements, appearance, or status but bows in total dependence on God. God doesn’t honour the proud; He lifts the lowly.
The kingdom of heaven belongs to those who have surrendered pride and self-righteousness. It belongs to those who know they are spiritually bankrupt without Him. The heart God honours is not one that tries to prove itself, but one that knows it has nothing to prove. It is humble, teachable, and always reaching out for His grace.
Charge: Will you choose to walk in humility? Will you choose to say, “Lord, help me to be humble and walk in humility all the days of my life?”

Thank you.
It is dangerous trying to deal with God with an arrogant heart
