“And Boaz answered and said unto her, It hath fully been showed me, all that thou hast done unto thy mother-in-law since the death of thine husband: and how thou hast left thy father and thy mother, and the land of thy nativity, and art come unto a people which thou knewest not heretofore.”

Ruth 2:11

We should be familiar with this statement: “We are the Bible people around us read.” And the earlier we live consciously of this understanding, the better it will be for us. As children of God and representatives of Christ here on earth, people want to see us live an exemplary life pointing to Jesus.

Some people are weighed down by the cares and burdens of life, but when our lives shine as light, it reveals God’s love for them. The Scriptures say that we should let our light shine before men so that they see our good works, and glorify our Father in heaven.

The essence of our living here on earth is for the exaltation and honour of God’s name. Therefore, we should be mindful of how we present ourselves to people, not living as hypocrites, but living to please God our Father.

Charge: Daily as you live, often as you breathe, let your whole life be an expression of God’s grace.
