“And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins. “
Matthew 1:21
The mission of Jesus was very clear from the beginning—He came to die for us and bring us back to the Father. He didn’t come just to inspire, comfort, or perform miracles—He came to die so that we might live. His death wasn’t a mistake; it was a divine assignment.
Every lash He bore, every drop of blood He shed, and every breath He gave up was for you, for us. He died to purchase your freedom, cleanse your past, and give you a new life in God. His death was the reconciliation between a broken world and a Holy God.
The question for you today is this—are you living like someone He died for? Every time we return to willful sin, ignore His voice or live casually about our faith, we take His sacrifice lightly. His grace is free, but it’s not cheap. Go back to Him sincerely, acknowledging your wrong and sincerely rededicating your life to Him.
Charge: Let your daily life reflect the weight of His sacrifice.
