“Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double-minded.”
James 4:7-8
Surrendering to God’s will is a journey of faith, trust, and obedience. When we submit to God, we acknowledge His sovereignty and goodness, allowing Him to guide and direct our lives. This path of submission brings us closer to God, enabling us to experience His peace, joy, and power.
In a world filled with distractions and temptations, submitting to God requires intentionality and commitment. It means letting go of self-reliance and control, embracing humility, and trusting God’s perfect plan.
As we yield to God, we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us, resist the devil’s influence and live a life that honours God.
Charge: The Lord has given us the grace and power to resist the devil. Utilise it!
