“Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another. No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us.”
1 John 4:11-12
There are many ways to reciprocate God’s love such that it would move God in heaven even though He’s unseen. We believe we shall see Him at the end, each man presented before the throne to receive the reward of his earthly work.
Hence, if God so loved us, shouldn’t the same love naturally flow through us? Of truth, we become what we behold. And if God is our Father, the gene of charity ought not to be missing in our lives.
A proof of God’s evident presence is the unconditional love that we experience from parents to children, pastor to members, fellowship to converts, and even from friends to friends. A love so pure and true, free of condemnation and abuse. Loving others should never feel like a burden because we are not deprived of love, and extending love to others does not diminish what we have.
Charge: Spread the love of Christ today and always, as that’s what God wants you to do.
