“And Moses sware on that day, saying, Surely the land whereon thy feet have trodden shall be thine inheritance, and thy children’s forever because thou hast wholly followed the LORD my God.”
Joshua 14:9
Is it a wise thing to wholly follow the Lord? Our Bible verse for today reminds us that when we follow God with all our heart, He rewards our faithfulness. Now, that answers the question.
Following God with all our hearts brings us closer to Him. We experience a deeper intimacy with God, and our relationship with Him becomes more personal and meaningful.
When we follow Him, He fulfils His promises to us. This can be a promise of salvation, healing, or provision. When we follow the Lord, we leave a lasting legacy and impact on the world around us. Caleb’s faithfulness inspired others to follow God, and his legacy continued for generations.
Charge: When you follow the Lord with all your heart, He will give you an inheritance. Serve him faithfully and get your reward.
