“Can two walk together, except they be agreed?”

Amos 3:3

With our busy schedules and diverse interests, it’s easy to let relationships fall apart and die. However, the Bible provides valuable insight into what makes relationships truly meaningful.

It’s not about finding someone who agrees with you on everything, but rather about finding someone with whom you can walk in agreement, even when you don’t see from the same perspective. The three principles below will help you build meaningful relationships:

1. Shared values: Identify the values and principles that are non-negotiable for you, and seek out relationships with people who share those values.
2. Effective communication: Learn to communicate effectively, listen actively and express yourself clearly.
3. Mutual Respect: Treat others with respect and dignity, even when you disagree.

Charge: Two perfect beings cannot work in agreement but two imperfect beings can.
