“But the very hairs of your head are all numbered.”
Matthew 10:30.
Have you ever been far from home, in an unfamiliar place, with no expectation of being recognized, only for someone to call your name at the exact moment you needed help? The feeling can be a mix of surprise and relief, often accompanied by questions like, “How do you know me?” or “Where do you know me from?” It’s an extraordinary reminder that being known brings comfort and connection, especially in moments of need.
Now imagine being associated with someone as prominent as the president of a country. You might proudly tell others, “The president knows me!” But how much greater is the privilege of being known by the Almighty God?
No one escapes His sight. At creation, He chose to make you in His image, investing His essence in your existence. If you matter enough to be created in His likeness, how could you not matter in His heart? God’s knowledge of you is intimate and personal—He knows your every step, thought, and action. He even calls you by name, drawing you closer to Him. This truth should inspire reverence and faithfulness in how you live for Him.
Charge: Live confidently and faithfully, knowing that the Lord knows you and has chosen you for His purpose.
