“Holding forth the word of life; that I may rejoice in the day of Christ, that I have not run in vain, neither laboured in vain.”
Philippians 2:16
The Bible describes the Christian life as a race, and it’s definitely more like a marathon than a sprint. Every race is judged not by how it starts, but how it is finished. As a child of God, the fact that you are on fire today doesn’t mean you will be on fire tomorrow—if you are not intentional about it.
The greatest tragedy is not to die but to have lived a long life with no real sense of purpose. If you don’t want to run in vain, you need to live a purposeful life and focus more on your personal spiritual life. Avoid matters that can weigh you down or drag you out of the finishing line.
Are you still standing for Jesus? It’s never too late to retrace your steps back to Jesus for help.
Charge: Life is short; pour it out to God like a liquid offering. Strive to finish the race without running in vain.

Happy Sunday, Beloved. Stay fulfilled.
