“Love cannot be bought or sold—it is not found in the marketplace. If a man would offer all the goods of his house for love, he would be utterly scorned and despised” (AMP). What is Love? God is love. (1 John 4:8).
Humanly, if you love someone, you will do anything to please the person and ensure that nothing comes in between you both. If we love God, we will do anything to make Him constantly happy with us. Even if we sin, we would seek forgiveness instantly to mend to relationship. However, we do not know how to love God except by the help of God. God desires that we love Him with all our heart, soul, mind and strength.
Beloved, do you truly love God? The love of God can be shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost if we surrender to Him. If we truly love the Lord and seek to love Him more, we will yield to the leading of the Holy Spirit. We can ask the Lord to breathe His love in our hearts and teach us how to love. We can be so sure that our love for God is worked into something good. May we enjoy a loving relationship with our Father always. Amen.
