“By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.”
Hebrews 11:7
Faith as defined by Hebrew 11:12, is “the assurance of things hoped for and the conviction of things not seen (NASB version).” Faith is the currency spent in the realm of the Spirit; therein, we don’t spend naira or dollars but Faith.
The Bible made it clear that without faith, no man can please God. This means that our services without faith is a waste. As believers, faith makes us see the invisible and believe the unseen. God promised Abraham a child at age 70, but this didn’t come into manifestation until 30 years later when he was well-stricken in age.
The same thing applies to Noah; he took God at His Word and showed his faith by immediately doing what the Lord instructed. The Bible says that we show our faith through our works, and we see through Abraham and Noah’s actions that they truly believed God.
It is time to sit and assess what you are doing that backs what you say you believe. You cannot be waiting for rain and not have an ark.
Charge: Though it tarries, wait for it, it will surely come to pass. Ensure you prepare while you wait.
