THE GREAT COMMISSION

Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.”
Matthew 28:19-20
As believers of the Gospel of Christ, we have all been commanded with such great responsibility, and we must not only look at it just as that, but also as a wonderful privilege to contribute to the harvest.
We are to bear in mind that every one of us has been sent and not just the five-fold ministerial offices. So, you and I must plunge ourselves into this task of evangelism and reconciliation. Jesus also entrusted to us the responsibility of teaching the nations His ways and everything He has commanded us including baptising them. Since salvation has been extended beyond the Jews, we are expected  to disciple people from all walks of life.
What are you going to do about this today? I beseech you to seek out opportunities to bear more fruit unto our Heavenly Father. Talk to someone about Jesus today. It may be on the road, or in the bus, or over lunch, or even at work. You will certainly be changing the course of a person’s eternal state from darkness to light.
May the Lord give us understanding to fulfil this scripture in Jesus’ name. Amen.
