THE PLANS OF THE LORD

“And said to them, Thus it is written, that the Christ should suffer and on the third day rise from the dead, and that repentance and forgiveness of sins should be preached in his name to all nations, beginning from Jerusalem”

LUKE 24:46-47

…thus it is written;

There’s something about how God so intricately plans things. Nothing is an afterthought for Him. Nothing throws Him off balance. Nothing is too big for Him to handle.

The death of Jesus and the redemption of man had been planned from the beginning, and when Jesus came, it was to fulfill prophecy.

A reading of the gospels would show you parts where things like – “it was written”, or “to fulfill that which had been prophesied”.

God made sure He kept every single word He had promised, and because Jesus was so aligned to the will of the Father, His life was a case study in living out all that had been written out from the beginning of time.

God is intentional. And that’s why you’re not a mistake. God is very deliberate, and that is why your life has been very carefully thought out. But Q the question will always be…”will you follow the ways of the Lord?”

I advise you seek out the plans of the Lord and ensure you’re walking in it, because just like the obedience of Jesus led to repentance and forgiveness of sin, giving a whole race access to the one true God, there’s also something for your life to fulfill.

Charge: It has been written, but will you follow?

Happy Easter.
