“And they shall see his face, and his name shall be in their foreheads.”
Revelation 22:4
As a believer, it is expected that we prepare for the second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. We should not stray out of the fold that is amidst the children of God.
Today’s Scripture says that we should run a background check on our faith in God. If Jesus comes, will you see His face? If your answer is “yes,” that means you have surrendered your life to God, being obedient to God’s word, watchful and prayerful, living a life of holiness, walking on the path of righteousness, doing the will of God, preaching the gospel of salvation, serving faithfully in God’s vineyard and above all, living for God at all times.
If your answer is “no”, the Scripture for today shares the message about God’s gift of salvation through Jesus Christ. This is a call for repentance, reconciliation, and restoration. God is calling souls to repent because the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ is near. God has reconciled us unto Himself through the Lord Jesus Christ. God still restores the garment of righteousness unto His children who surrender their lives to Jesus Christ.
May the Lord preserve us blameless till we behold the face of our Lord Jesus Christ in Jesus’ name. Amen.
