DISCIPLINE YOUR FEEDING HABITS

For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord’s body. For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep.”

1 Corinthians 11:29-30

Beloved, do you know that God shows interest in all that our life consists of even to the least of all? God takes note of every detail in our lives, so much so that He desires healthy living for us.

God is interested in how we live out our lives daily. Brethren, whether we eat or drink, it should be unto the Lord: this means that our awareness of God’s presence and interest in our feeding should prompt us to watch our food and drink consumption.

Let’s relate the story of Daniel to today’s Scripture. We will notice that Daniel’s decision to please God even to the point of watching his eating and drinking habit in the King’s palace made him prosper in all things. His countenance appeared fairer and fatter, God gave him knowledge and skill, he had understanding in all visions and dreams, and was ten times better than all the magicians.

Beloved, do not defile yourself in what you eat or drink but please God even in your feeding habits. May God help us to be disciplined in balancing our nutrition in Jesus’ name. Amen.
