“And when he had taken the book, the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saints.”
Revelation 5:8
Prayer is an essential part of our relationship with God. It’s a way for us to communicate with Him and pour out our hearts before Him. Sometimes, it may seem like our prayers are going unanswered or that we’re not seeing any results from them. But the truth is, our prayers are never wasted.
In Revelation 5:8, we see that the prayers of saints are like sweet-smelling fragrances before God. They are precious to Him and He hears every single one of them. Even if we don’t see immediate results from our prayers, we can trust that God is working behind the scenes to bring about His perfect will in our lives.
It’s important to remember that prayer is not just about asking for things or making requests. It’s also about spending time in God’s presence, seeking His face, and aligning ourselves with His will. When we pray according to His will, He hears us and answers us according to His perfect timing.
