At the name of Jesus, every knee shall bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus is Lord. (Philippians 2: 10-11)
Dear Christian, consider this a reminder that the name of Jesus is the one place you can run to and have all your concerns wiped in a millisecond. Those that have trusted in that name have returned with songs of victory. It is a name above all names.
Sicknesses bow to that name. Demons bow to that name. Situations bow to that name. Nothing is greater than that name. All things have been made subject to that name.
As a Christian, you have great privileges in that name. You call on the Father through Jesus and just by virtue of that name, nothing is allowed to remain standing when you have told it to bow. No door is allowed to remain closed when you have told it to open. These are the privilege you have been granted. But, do you believe?
Do you know the majestic worth of that name? Is that name just the noun the precedes and ends a prayer session? Is the name just another exclamation to you? Dear, do not make the mistake of having everything but never using what you’ve been given. There is power in the name of Jesus!
Prayer
1. Lord, save me from the sin of unbelief.
2. Help me, Lord, to understand the power in your name.
3. In the name of Jesus, no evil prevails over me!
