Can two walk or work together, except they agree? This question serves as a reminder that when choosing a partner for marriage, both parties must agree to become one, to form a family, and to compromise when faced with differences.
Now that you remember this, it’s important to not just go along with the trend because it will lead to bending you out of shape. When your marriage is in order, many things in life fall into place. Always remember that your marriage or relationship can still work, regardless of what is happening around you. Don’t let the trend be the measuring cup of your reality, as it will cause unnecessary pressure.
Do what works for you, but make sure that you are doing the right things. A great relationship is still possible, as long as you follow God’s original design for marriage.
I am grateful for my darling husband who is always amazing, and thank God for His grace upon us. We will continue to fulfill God’s mandate for our marriage.
