“These people have I formed for myself; they shall shew forth my praise.

Isaiah 43:21

Have you ever wondered about your purpose? We all have, at specific points. However, our God-given purpose is continuously unfolding. Therefore, I hope we all live excitedly anticipating what God has for us next, even as we walk the path He has set before us.

However, I want to centre on the major purpose of our creation. Please, read that verse again. We were created for God. For his glory, honour, and praise. We were created to worship! And this is why it is so important that our lives be instruments of worship towards God. That is our primary purpose, and when we do anything outside of that, we live outside the will of God.

Being instruments of worship is not restricted to singing or saying words of praise to God—although that is undoubtedly an essential part of it—it is living our lives to honour Him by obeying His word and living as faithful Christians (Being Christ-like).

I pray that the Lord will make our lives sweet sacrifices of praise before His throne in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Prayer

  1. Lord, I thank you for making me. It is beautiful to know the intent of your heart as you moulded me, and I pray I never deviate from it.
  2. Help me to surrender my life as a living sacrifice to you, Lord.

This is our message for today, and we hope you were blessed. We’d also love to hear from you; please comment below.
