“The LORD is in his holy temple, The LORD’s throne is in heaven: His eyes behold, his eyelids try, the children of men. The LORD trieth the righteous: But the wicked and him that loveth violence his soul hateth.”

Psalm 11:4-5

There are seasons in life when it feels as if God is distant, and has stepped back from the affairs of men and allowed events to unfold unchecked. Yet Scripture reminds us otherwise. God is not absent from His throne, nor has He relocated His authority. He remains in His holy place, fully sovereign, aware, and deeply engaged with the affairs of humanity.

Nothing escapes His gaze. Every hidden motive, whispered thought, and silent struggle is seen clearly by an Abba Father whose eyes never close in indifference.

To live under the awareness of our Heavenly Father who watches and tests is to walk in both reverence and confidence. Reverence, because nothing in our lives is hidden from Him; confidence, because His eyes are not wandering but purposeful, shaping those who belong to Him.

Charge: The same God who tests also preserves the righteous and ultimately establishes justice in His time.
