“And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.”

Mark 11:25

You must have heard of the many keys to success, or even messages that speak about the keys to the heart of God. Today, however, we will consider one of the most potent keys to answered prayers.

God hears all our prayers, but not every request is granted from His throne of grace: ‭Isaiah 59:1 AMP‬. His hand is not too short to save, nor His ear too impaired to hear: ‭Isaiah 59:2 AMP‬. But wickedness separates us from God, hiding His face so He does not hear. Sin hampers our connection, making us unworthy of God’s blessings despite sacrifices.

Unforgiveness particularly blocks God’s help, as we’re told we should owe nothing, since receiving depends on being willing to forgive. Forgiveness makes us eligible to fellowship with God, testing our ability to accept His goodness even amid trials. To be free, we must forgive everyone in our hearts, as God cannot reign where offence resides.

Charge: Holding grudges may delay our blessings; release them, and you’ll open heaven’s door to receive God’s blessings.
