“The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise.”
Proverbs 11:30
True wisdom is not merely seen in knowledge, eloquence, or achievement—it is revealed in impact. The Scripture declares that “he that winneth souls is wise.” This means that a truly wise person leads others into life, truth, and reconciliation with God.
Winning souls is not limited to preaching on a pulpit—it is a daily calling. It happens through kindness, integrity, encouragement, and sharing the message of Christ. Every interaction becomes an opportunity to reflect God’s love and point someone toward Him. Wisdom understands the eternal value of a soul and prioritises it above temporary gains.
Today, consider your life as a gigantic tree. Are others finding warmth, life through you? Can they use you as a focal point to bring them closer to God? Ask the Lord to make you a vessel through which His life flows freely, and give you the wisdom to win souls.
Charge: Your words, actions, and character can become a source of life to those around you.
