“And now, Lord, behold their threatenings: and grant unto thy servants, that with all boldness they may speak thy word, By stretching forth thine hand to heal; and that signs and wonders may be done by the name of thy holy child Jesus. And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness.”
Acts 4:29-31
Clara admitted she was amazed by the authority with which Bola spoke and asked how she did it. At dawn, they gathered in the chapel and began studying the book of Acts. Their spiritual exercise grew to include fasting, worship, meditation, and prayer. After a month, Clara was inspired to speak to the junior students the next day with boldness.
At the school assembly, Clara’s speech captivated both students and teachers. The atmosphere was charged with the presence of God. Afterwards, she and Bola ministered, prayed, and counselled the younger students.
