“Then said Paul, John verily baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people, that they should believe on him which should come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus. When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.”

Acts 19:4-5

The people Paul met in Ephesus had information, but they lacked revelation. They had received John’s baptism of repentance, yet they had not heard the full message of Christ. But one conversation, and word of truth changed everything.

When they heard the life-changing word about Jesus, they responded immediately. Truth, when received, produces transformation. The right word at the right time can shift a person from preparation into fulfilment, from ritual into relationship, and from knowledge into power.

God’s Word still carries the power to correct, redirect, and renew lives. When we truly hear and believe it, change follows.

Charge: Transformation begins when truth is heard and obeyed. Jesus is the truth; hear and obey Him and you shall be transformed.
