“And God remembered Noah, and every living thing, and all the cattle that were with him in the ark: and God made a wind to pass over the earth, and the waters assuaged.”

Genesis 8:1

Tolu sat in his small room staring at the ceiling. Life had been dealing him blows: job gone, relationships strained, prayers feeling unanswered. “Lord, have You forgotten me?” he whispered. Days turned to weeks, and nothing changed. But one morning, as he read the story of Noah, something struck him. Noah was not forgotten in the ark; he was preserved.

The ark may have felt like confinement, but it was protection. “And God remembered Noah…” Suddenly, Tolu realised; God had been keeping him, not ignoring him. That same week, a call came; a job he didn’t apply for. An opportunity he didn’t expect. A door he never imagined. And in that moment, he knew, God remembers at the right time.

Just like Noah, your season of waiting is not abandonment. God remembers, and when He does, the winds of change begin to blow. Every storm has an expiry date.

Charge: Lift your head. Your “God remembered” moment is closer than you think.
