“And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.”

Revelation 22:17

When the king in Jesus’ parable prepared a great wedding feast, he sent out many invitations. Yet, those first invited made excuses: one said he was busy with his business, another with his farm. So, the king commanded his servants, “Go into the highways, and invite everyone you find” (Matthew 22:9). Soon, the hall was filled with guests of all kinds and status.

That is the heart of God’s invitation: Come one, come all. His grace isn’t limited to a select few; it is wide open to every thirsty soul and every weary heart. You don’t need to fix yourself first; you only need to come.

Men may exclude you from their plans, but God does not. His invitation still echoes to the sinner, the seeking heart, and the saint alike. He says, “Come and drink freely.”
Will you answer His call today?

Charge: The door of mercy is wide open, and the King still waits.
