“Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.”

Psalm 23:4

One of the most difficult times in my life was the time I noticed my leg paralysis. Every effort to find the cause and regain my mobility proved abortive. It was a despairing moment.

I had questioned God almost every day. Aggressive and soft pleadings. It was like God wasn’t hearing or He was listening but wasn’t saying a thing. Until one night. He said, “Why do you keep crying? You should simply watch, obey My word, and wait. I won’t restore your mobility in a single day, but gradually.” He kept His word. My healing happened within months.

This experience taught me that God is always with us regardless of any of our life’s seasons. He may choose silence when you call on His name, but it doesn’t mean He hasn’t heard you. God works with time. Dear child of the Most High, don’t stop knocking on heaven’s gate. Your Heavenly Father is with you in that chaos. And when He speaks, just listen and have faith that He will do it.

Charge: There is still peace in that chaos and storm you are facing. You aren’t alone; God is there with you.
