“But upon mount Zion shall be deliverance, and there shall be holiness; and the house of Jacob shall possess their possessions.”
Obadiah 1:17
Complete deliverance does not come from human strength, or strategies but from the Lord. On Mount Zion, God promises a place of total freedom, holiness, and restoration. This verse reminds us that deliverance, more than just being set free from trouble; is about being restored to God’s original intention for our lives.
Many have turned to shortcuts, charms, or human interventions for safety. Yet, every attempt apart from God leaves a man bound. But when the Lord steps in, chains are broken, yokes are destroyed, and lost ground is recovered. The house of Jacob not only experienced deliverance but also “possessed their possessions”
Maybe you feel trapped by fear or whatever circumstances there may be, remember this: Deliverance is of the Lord. He alone has the power to break every cycle and usher you into your destiny. For “He delivers and rescues, and works signs and wonders in heaven and on earth” (Daniel 6:27).
Charge: Call on the Lord today for deliverance and restoration.
