“Hath walked in my statutes, and hath kept my judgments, to deal truly; he is just, he shall surely live, saith the Lord God.”E

Ezekiel 18:9

To be just is not merely about outward morality; it is about aligning our steps with God’s Word and allowing His righteousness to guide our actions. While the world often celebrates shortcuts and compromises, God reminds us that true life is found in walking justly before Him.

The just man is one who not only knows God’s statutes but lives by them. It is a life marked by truth, integrity, and obedience. This life may not always gain applause from the world, but it does carry the approval of heaven.

Living justly requires courage. It means ch0oosing integrity in business when compromise promises more profit. It means showing kindness when selfishness seems easier. It means obeying God even when it may seem uncomfortable. Yet the promise remains sure: “He shall surely live.” Let us, therefore, live justly, for this is the path that pleases our Lord and secures His blessing.

Charge: Beloved, true life belongs to those who remain steadfast in God’s ways.
