“Then Moses said unto Aaron, This is it that the Lord spake, saying, I will be sanctified in them that come nigh me, and before all the people I will be glorified. And Aaron held his peace.”

Leviticus 10:3

God designed us to be vessels of honour that consistently bring honour to Him. Today’s evotional seeks to reveal how God desires that we honour Him. We should be aware that God has called us to draw near unto Him by acknowledging His holiness.

God’s holiness must be respected, and His commands should be followed precisely. He demands our respect, and we respond to this demand by living in a way that brings glory to His name. We should honour God daily as we seek His presence and strive to know Him better. Additionally, God should be honoured and praised by everyone who observes our good works and gives glory to Him.

We have also been strategically placed in different spheres of life by God to lift Him up; while He, in turn, draws all men to Him. Can you quickly check through your life now if you have been honouring God? Our relationships, conversations, thoughts, actions and everything about us must honour God.

Charge: We must be serious whenever we approach God and our obedience in the place of worship unto Him is important.
